CALF STRETCHES
Gastrocnemius Stretch
Place your hands on a wall about head height. Bring one leg backwards so that it is straight and keep your heel on the floor.
The other leg should be bent and in front of the other leg. Both knees should be facing forward, and use your pelvis to lunge forward.
Soleus Stretch
Place your hands on a wall about head height. Bring one foot behind the other, keeping your heels on the floor. Bend both knees and keep them facing forward.
Stick your bum out slightly and squad down.
Deep Posterior Compartment Calf Stretch
Place your hands on a wall about head height. Bring one foot behind the other, so that your toes are on the other foot's heel (best done with shoes on). Both heels should be on the floor and both knees should bent and facing forwards.
Stick your bum out slightly and squad down.
